A Month of Christmas Crafts: Project 2-Paper & Glass Magnets

Hey everyone!  Welcome to the second project in my Christmas crafts series!  Today is a Paper & Glass magnet that you can really do any time of year, with any theme paper, but it's Christmas time, so I used mostly Christmas-themed scrapbook paper for these!
First up, the supplies: Mod Podge, a foam applicator, the glass 'stones' that you find in the Floral section of your craft store (I used the larger stones, but the small ones would be super cute too!), magnets, a glue gun (I recommend low-temp.) a 1" circle punch and some scrap Scrapbook paper.
Use your circle punch to punch as many circles of your favorite scrapbook paper as you'd like to use.  Apply Mod Podge liberally to the back of the glass stone and the front of the scrapbook paper.
Join together and 'smush' the paper to the stone, so that you get rid of any air bubbles.  Cover the back of the scrapbook paper with Mod Podge as well, to create a seal around the paper and glass.
The Mod Podge dries clear, so hang in there when at first, the image looks milky.  Allow to dry-the thicker your Mod Podge, the longer the dry time.
This is what it will look like once the Mod Podge has dried!!!
All that's left to do now is hot glue a magnet on the back, and let it cool!
Once the glue has cooled, you can either package them up as gifts (super if your friends/family is doing one of those $10 gift exchanges), or pop them on your fridge to hold up your Christmas cards (or picture of your adorable son)!
I hope you'll give this a try!  Check back soon for my next craft!
